Our roots go back to 2003, when we laid the first foundations of our work in wooden construction.

At this point, we fully dedicated ourselves to the research and development of sustainable solutions in the field of natural material construction.

These beginnings laid the framework for our commitment to quality, innovation, and respect for wood as a fundamental building element.

In 2005, we built our first wooden passive house – an important milestone in our development.

Since then, we have continuously used natural and innovative materials to bring the principles of sustainable and high-quality wooden construction to life.

This principle remains our guiding light to this day.

In 2013, a new brand was born – Bauta, carrying symbolic and traditional meaning.

The old Slovenian word "báuta" refers to a carpentry tool with a massive blade, wider than a regular axe. It was used for carpentry and rough wood processing (building wooden structures, working with logs, planing large surfaces, or rough carving).

The word "bauta" was used in older rural environments, especially in the Gorenjska and Štajerska regions.
